My stabbing, knife piercing pain

I started sharing my $20 'grocery store' cure for cancer recently.

It took a while before anyone was willing to try it. But then a woman wrote to say that her breast cancer appeared to be gone. She said it took two weeks. She can no longer feel the lump. If any of it remains, it's too small to palpate at this point.

Then a man wrote about his 10-inch colon cancer. He's been
bleeding, suffering from fatiguing pain, and flatulence. Since
starting, from the very first day, he has become symptom free. He
wrote to say, it's the best he has felt in over a year.

Next a woman wrote to say that the pain from her cancer in her jaw
bone had gone down from the very first pepper and garlic meal. She
wrote that her head had felt like cement prior to eating the pepper
and garlic. But now it feels light and clean. She said her bones felt
clean all over.

These are just the beginnings. I expect more and more cancer sufferers to try it, and more people spreading the good news like wildfire. It wouldn't surprise me if the cure becomes common knowledge by Independence Day of next year...maybe sooner.

A U.S. Congressman Put Me On The Trail

Rep. Peter Defazio of Oregon was sitting across from me as I was interviewing him in his Congressional office.

The 'DEADLY BACTERIA' cure

You probably heard the news about yet another deadly bacteria, c. difficile, that is wreaking havoc in hospitals, killing patients left and right. This time the story is true. The bug causes diarrhea which can be dangerous.

Thank goodness, it's easy to prevent and cure. Not with a drug, but with a 'bug.' The bug is friendly bacteria.

We're supposed to have 3 to 5 pounds of friendly bacteria in our body. Hardly anybody does though.

Here's the problem...we don't eat foods with friendly bacteria any more, unless you're making homemade sour kraut. ;-) If you show up in a hospital after being depleted for weeks or months of good bacteria, and then they fill you full of antibiotics, you might want to notify your next of kin - to quickly get you some probiotics.

Oh yeah, it the hospital, they'll probably give you Prilosec, too, without your knowing it. That practically guarantees you're going to get sicker by messing up your pH, thereby promoting the death of any good bacteria in your system.

But that's okay (Not really). My favorite probiotic is PB-8, which is widely available in health food stores. I've heard good things about Dr. Ohiras probiotic, too.

Every person should be taking a top quality multi-probiotic...or making and eating sour kraut (It has to be homemade.) :-)

Crestor Miracle? NOT SO FAST!

Crestor News Full of Baloney

Here's the general rule when it comes to so-called news on drug studies. The more publicity attached to the story, the more likely you are to get bad information.

Today's example of that is the Crestor report claiming it's the greatest thing since sliced bread for preventing heart attacks. So good in fact, that the study was "ended early."

If you fall for that...and who wouldn't...I've got some swamp land you'd love to buy.

Crestor has a history of causing kidney failure at higher doses...75 TIMES HIGHER than other cholesterol medications! So if you are paying for the study, you don't want to risk continuing when you've already got the results you want. Yes, the study was funded by the makers of Crestor! So they could stop the study magically whenever it was looking good for them.

Crestor also has a history of a deadly side effect called rhabdomyolysis, higher than the now banned Baycol! The lower dose hadn't produced that result...yet. So once again, shortening the study served AstraZeneca quite nicely.

Now for the magic benefit: it takes 120 Crestor patients to prevent one heart attack. In other words, it takes $170,000 worth of Crestor to prevent one heart attack. Some miracle that is!

A couple years ago, a major study found that heart attacks could be cut in half by taking 800 mgs of folic acid each day for a few cents a day, instead of the highly risky Crestor for $3.50 a day!

Please share this far and wide through emails, StumbleUpon and Digg.

Do yourself a favor and add folic acid to your daily regimen if that's what you want to do. Crestor? Like Baycol, only maybe worse.

Cases of serious Crestor-related side effects began surfacing even before the drug was released on the global market. (As reported in PharmaLive: “The rate of reports of kidney failure or damage among patients taking the cholesterol drug Crestor is 75 times higher than in all patients taking all other statins, according to a Public Citizen analysis of government data.”) The reports of 65 Crestor-related cases of rhabdomyolysis in the United States is a rate approaching that of Baycol which was taken off the market for that very reason. As a result, two major U.S. insurance companies, WellPoint, and Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, have refused to reimburse for Crestor citing Baycol as a precursor.

It doesn't seem to matter he was curing cancer patients left and right.

The medical elite has fought tooth and nail to suppress Dr. Revici's work.

To illustrate the "witch-hunt" against anything or anyone associated with Revici, consider this story from Sam A. Abady, Dr. Revici's attorney...

Abady was interviewing a doctor who had secretly been performing his own research on Revici's method at Sloan-Kettering after hours. The doctor told him it showed very promising results. But when Abady asked him to testify in Revici's behalf, he refused.

So Abady told him he'd have to subpoena him.

But then (according to Abady)...

"The doctor burst into tears and begged me not to make him do that. He said he had a family, and that he could lose everything when the people at Sloan-Kettering found out about it. The doctor was beside himself. I told him I really needed for him to come forward, not so much to testify regarding the results but to testify about the punitive climate that existed at the hospital regarding anything to do with Revici... The doctor's testimony had the potential to show clearly that Dr. Revici's method was not being given fair consideration by the mainstream medical community."

Despite the clear benefit to Revici to have this doctor's testimony, Revici decided not to have him subpoenaed. He didn't want to risk someone else's professional future.

Why are BRAIN TUMORS exploding in KIDS...

Let me put this bluntly...you don't want your child to end up with a brain tumor. But it is happening more and more.

Two weeks before little Issy was taken to see Emanuel Revici, M.D., her doctors at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) had estimated she had two or three weeks left to live.

Five-hundred-thousand dollars of prior medical treatments had not cured her because a grapefruit-sized tumor pressed against the four-year-old's large intestine and liver. Meanwhile, the malignant growth had sprouted a six-foot predatory spider leg that wrapped itself around her spine. In addition, one of her chemotherapy sessions at CHOP had injured her kidneys and bladder, according to her father, Vernon Morin.

The Morins were cautioned by Issy's doctors that their daughter would probably die a painful death, although they would prescribe some narcotics to try to reduce her pain. The only "good" news they had to offer was that the end would come quickly.

Her parents would not give up, however. Two days after starting Dr. Revici's treatment, Issy's pain disappeared, so she no longer needed any pain killers. The first office visit cost less than $200. The medicine was free.

Issy spent that summer playing and swimming in the river behind her parent's home. As her treatment continued, she gained weight, began to grow, returned to preschool, and started ballet classes. Her sweet and playful disposition returned as well.

After nine months of Revici's care, Issy's grapefruit-sized tumor was smaller than a golf ball. The dangerous spider leg was dead. Where tests had previously shown 98% cancer cells in her peripheral blood, now there were none.

Meanwhile—when no one else could help Issy Morin—the state of New York yanked Dr. Revici's medical license.

Nor was Issy's battle over. The long-term effects of her kidney damage caused her to go into shock. But the people who said Issy would only last a few weeks had not referred her to a kidney specialist. Issy could overcome the cancer, but like Revici, she was no match for the medical establishment. Five months after her first coma, Issy surrendered for the last time.

Was it just luck that caused Issy's tumor to shrink so much? Why did the invasive spider leg shrivel up and go away? Is it flu SHOT season, or NOT?

My husband had a reaction to a flu shot and it literall cost him at least 30% of his mental function. -- When I looked up: "Flu shot reaction" on the internet, the ingredient in the flu shot as a preservative kept coming up as a possible cause. That ingredient is thimerasol. A form of Mercury.

The reader also sent me a copy of the letter she received from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) that admitted that flu shots are processed with mercury!

Researchers from Oxford and elsewhere have come up with startling news. It turns out that if your level of vitamin B-12 in your blood is too low, you're up to 6 times more likely to get either Alzheimer's or dementia!

The researchers favor eating foods rich in B-12. Meanwhile, I've started taking B-12 under the tongue and noticed within a couple days much more mental clarity and a better memory.

I prefer the B-12 that's the methyl- form. In other words, add "methyl-" to "cobalamin" to get methylcobalamin. It'll say that on the bottle somewhere.

The B-12 that melts under the tongue is about 90% absorbed. Stomach acid destroys almost all the B-12 that is swallowed...so you only absorb about a measly 2% (two percent!)

The B-12 has many effects, including aiding fatty acids, which are vital to proper brain function.

Oh yeah, a lack of B-12 in the blood also results in a shrinking brain! So either eat foods rich in B-12 or take a B-12. Or both.

I started sharing my $20 'grocery store' cure for cancer recently.

It took a while before anyone was willing to try it. But then a woman
wrote to say that her breast cancer appeared to be gone. She said it
took two weeks. She can no longer feel the lump. If any of it remains,
it's too small to palpate at this point.

Then a man wrote about his 10-inch colon cancer tumor. He's been
bleeding, suffering from fatiguing pain, and flatulence. Since
starting, from the very first day, he has become symptom free. He
wrote to say, it's the best he has felt in over a year.

Next a woman wrote to say that the pain from her cancer in her jaw
bone had gone down from the very first pepper and garlic meal. She
wrote that her head had felt like cement prior to eating the pepper
and garlic. But now it feels light and clean. She said her bones felt
clean all over.

These are just the beginnings. I expect more and more cancer sufferers to try it, and more people spreading the good news like wildfire. It wouldn't surprise me if the cure becomes common knowledge by Independence Day of next year...maybe sooner.

What does scurvy have to do with CANCER?

Left untreated, scurvy ALWAYS kills. But all that's needed to cure scurvy is some citrus fruit.

In other words, scurvy is a devastating disease that kills...it kills faster than cancer as a matter of fact.

Yet it is cured so simply.

Today we think of cancer as a devastating disease. Unlike scurvy, however, we mistakenly think it takes a lot of horrible treatments to cure it.

But what if that weren't true at all...what if, just like scurvy, cancer was also incredibly easy to cure?

Since cancer is our present day scourge, it can be hard to wrap our head around the idea that "the big C" is a paper tiger.

I'm here to tell you, that it is real simple to reverse cancer. It might not be as delicious as citrus, but it is really simple.

I know this because I cured myself of Stage 4 cancer in two weeks. That was ten years ago.

Recently I shared how to do this for free online. Just a few days ago, a woman wrote back that her "knife piercing pain" from her breast cancer was gone after two weeks. She also wrote to say that her lump was also gone!

Kennedy & Novak's cancer can be cured: an open letter

As Mr. Liberal and Mr. Conservative, you are joined in a common cause: victory over incurable brain cancers.

It can be done.

The Doctor Who Cures Cancer tells five such stories of insurmountable victories, including the 46-year victory of Robert Fishbein, M.D., a 29-year-old physician with a wife and two small children.

Bob graduated from Harvard and Yale. He was also a winner on the Ted Mack Amateur Hour in his only appearance on the program. (Ted Mack was the "Star Search" of the 1950's. Bob's parents wouldn't allow him to return to the show despite an invitation to come back.)

But his Ivy League training didn't exempt Dr. Bob from falling victim to a virulent brain tumor. Bob's doctors estimated he would only live maybe two more months.

Bob furiously started a letter writing campaign to all the medical geniuses he knew, including Professor George Wald, who was honored with the Nobel Prize in Medicine ten months later.

But no one had the key to victory for Bob, not even Prof. Wald.

Meanwhile, Bob took a chance and saw a doctor who had been pilloried by the Journal of the American Medical Association and by the American Cancer Society.

That was in 1962. Bob is cancer free today, 46 years later.

The Doctor Who Cures Cancer, the back story

It's been a long, strange road to #5 on the best seller list.

Let me start out by saying that in every generation there is at least one book that changes the world. The Doctor Who Cures Cancer is such a book. To me the story could have a greater impact than Rachel Carson's Silent Spring...for obvious reasons. In her case, her enemies fought against her.

So why has The Doctor Who Cures Cancer had so little impact over the last decade, especially since the book snagged incredible publicity early on?

Twelve years ago, the Washington Post put a big photo of me and The Man Who Cures Cancer (the self published version) along with a big article about me, the book, and the bus I was driving, on the front page of their Metro section. Major book publishers would kill to get that kind of publicity for one of their bigtime authors.

I was no bigtime publisher, nor was I well connected. In other words, it had to be the power of the book. It was destined to sweep the country. So things were looking pretty rosie for me at that point.

The book was my dream. A Congressman from Oregon, Peter DeFazio, had led me to this story during an interview held in his office on Capitol Hill. I toiled and traveled for two years to put the story down on paper...rewriting and revising it numerous times.

Still, I was a lowly Ride-On bus operator/writer who had previously been published on the Washington Post op-ed page. The management of Ride-On made sure I had the newest, best looking, shiniest bus in the fleet on the day the Washington Post photographer took my picture.

As an aside, you've probably heard of Ride-On of Montgomery County before without realizing it. The last murder victim of the "D.C. snipers" was Ride-On bus operator Conrad Johnson. I had gotten to know Conrad - he was a class act. But really, it was no act...he was the real deal.

Shortly after the article in the Post appeared, my book was selected by a local Border's book employee to go on the "We recommend" table. The books sales took off. With the article's appearance and the sharp jump in readers, I was on my way, or so I thought.

Nope. Not even close.

My dream crashes

An event that should have made my dream a reality turned into a crushing disaster. A co-author of the book The G-Spot introduced me to a man in the book business in Manhattan who wanted to republish my book. His name is Elliot. He wanted to pick up what was then my self-published book, The Man Who Cures Cancer and republish it under the new name The Doctor Who Cures Cancer.

I had wanted this to happen all along. Two other publishers had wanted my book earlier. But I wanted to have the book out before Dr. Revici's birthday, an impossibility with the publishers. So I self published it with the goal that someone else would pick up the second edition.

Once again, my dream came true. Elliot promptly sent me an advance check.

Ironically, Elliot did more to keep the story from you than anyone else in the world.

Three weeks after he sent me the advance, he decided on his own that the royalty agreement was too high. He came up with what was in his mind the 'perfect' solution. He wanted to reduce my royalties by 65%!

Call me dumb, but I wouldn't go for it.

Elliot's crazy plan

After a dozen failed attempts on his part to get me to go along with his attempted thievery, he devised another option...an option I couldn't stop. Instead of selling the books through the major book distributors, such as Ingram, he'd sell the books out of his back office for the retail price.

He also supplied a few local outlets, including Dr. Revici's office, selling directly to them. Needless to say, his plan was a flop.

And my dream was destroyed. The story was, and still is, a passion of mine. My steadfast belief is that you and your loved ones can be cured without pain. But that can't happen if you've never had the chance to hear about the book.

The price of the book multiplies

To shorten a long story, for 10 years The Doctor Who Cures Cancer was held prisoner in a back office until the books finally sold out.

That's when the prices for a single used copy shot through the roof. One used copy apparently sold on Amazon.com for $285 British pounds ($570 at the time.)

The suffering continues unabated

In the intervening years, five to six million cancer patients in the US needlessly suffered and died. It's as if all the people in the Commonwealth of Virginia dropped dead after long suffering, including former presidential press secretary Tony Snow.

The years passed ever so slowly. It's hard to describe what it is like to have a solution for another deep person's suffering multiplied by six million, and yet feel helpless to do anything about it.

But I never gave up hope, despite having to file for bankruptcy due to the expenses that arose from writing the book, and falling into poverty. During this time, I was victorious over my own Stage 4 cancer. It took all of two weeks, and was as easy as pie.

A new chapter for The Doctor Who Cures Cancer

Finally, I decided that I'd had enough of the waiting. So I put the book online in an eBook format. I didn't know much about promoting the book, but the hunger was great enough that word kept spreading from reader to reader.

10,000 Russian copies

In March of this year (2008) I got a big surprise. Little did I know that 10,000 copies of my book had been translated into Russian and sold. A clinic opened in Kiev as a result. Back in 1998, Elliot had told me he was going to a Russian book fair. But he never told me he'd come to an agreement. Nor was I paid for them.

That became the straw that broke my back. I complained on an internet forum about this latest episode of bad luck. Thankfully a reply recommended print on demand (POD).

That's when I learned about a print-on-demand (POD) service that didn't require any money up front. (Meanwhile, Elliot was out of business.) Through the gracious help of Alan Barnett, a Manhattan book designer, the book got formatted in the proper way for the print-on-demand provider.

Although I like to say that I've written "The Second Greatest Story Ever Told" I'm still a dummy when it comes to advertising. No matter...the new edition of The Doctor Who Cures Cancer has climbed to #5 on cafepress with well over 16,000 titles being offered.

Hundreds of people are learning about the book's existence every day and many are seeing the x-ray evidence with their own eyes - impressing an indelible memory upon them.

Public awareness still has a long way to go. For instance a book that gives instructions on how to make graffiti is still outselling mine. In other words, a book promoting public vandalism has a bigger following at the moment.

Where do we go from here

But The Doctor Who Cures Cancer has a secret weapon. Some of my readers have gone back to cafepress after reading my book and ordered an additional copy. One reader, liked the book so much he overnighted it to actor Paul Newman upon hearing that the actor had lung cancer.

In a way, I've come to terms with saving all six million, but not quite. I can't do it alone. But together we can cure cancer - one person at a time!

And then we will start to cure all six million without pain, starting with you or a loved one.

Maybe scientists should study home economics instead

Why are scientists often the last to 'know' stuff? Did we really need to spend money to discover what any good chef could tell you?

The following article emailed to me from newsmax.com provides further evidence for why I advocate using freshly grated garlic to help cure cancer and not any other form of it:

Fresh Garlic May Be Healthier than Bottled

The next time you use garlic for its renowned antibacterial effects, consider fresh garlic instead of those bottles of chopped garlic. Researchers in Japan report that fresh garlic maintains higher levels of a key healthy ingredient than preserved versions and may be better for you. Their study is scheduled for the June 25 issue of ACS’ Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, a bi-weekly publication.

In the new study, Toyohiko Ariga and colleagues point out that allicin is one of the main active ingredients in garlic. Other studies have shown that allicin has beneficial effects in preventing blood clots, cancer, and bacterial infection. Although commercially bottled garlic is often stored in oil or water, researchers did not know how various storage and preservation methods affect levels of allicin, which is fragile and disappears quickly.

To find out, Ariga’s group compared allicin levels in extracts of fresh garlic after 1-2 weeks of storage in water, alcohol, and vegetable oil. Garlic stored in water at room temperature lost about half its allicin in 6 days and garlic in vegetable oil lost half its allicin in less than an hour. The garlic lost its antibacterial action as allicin broke down. However, allicin broke down into materials that still are believed to have some anticancer and anti-blood clot effects.

Cancer and limiting beliefs

Today, I'd like to tell you how a highly respected physician's failure and frustration in attempting to cure cancer acted as a springboard to discovering what he'd sought for over 30 years.

His name is Seymour Brenner, M.D., FACR. The "FACR" means he was a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. Despite heading the largest radiation oncology practice in the nation, overseeing several hundred appointments a week, and using state of the art radiological equipment, Dr. Brenner was thoroughly frustrated and saddened because the cure rate for cancer had barely improved for 30 years.

He longed for an answer. That's why his offices kept buying the latest million dollar equipment. But repeated improvements in the equipment along with keeping up to date with the latest training didn't budge the cure rate more than a couple of percentage points.

Meanwhile, he witnessed patients and their families crying in his office.

Picture, if you will, devoting your life though years of education, spending millions of dollars, and decades of your life trying to help desperately sick people only to get more of the same disappointment patient after patient.

But Dr. Brenner kept that inner hope alive. As a result of his inner desire, when he was presented with an answer from a patient, he grabbed it.

Here is what happened. A patient of his had terminal lung cancer that had spread to his bones. Dr. Brenner had seen this type of case before. In every case, the patient died. In fact, his treatments in cases like that were to attempt to reduce the bone pain...not to cure the patient. Sometimes that worked.

Dr. Brenner had not seen John for a year. He assumed that John had died, as had every other patient in his terminal condition had done.

But on the fateful day, the former patient showed up in his office! Not only was he alive, but he was cancer free! Dr. Brenner was dumbstruck.

He asked John what he had done. John told him he'd been to see Dr. Emanuel Revici, who had an innovative treatment. Dr. Brenner picked up the phone immediately to make an appointment to see Dr. Revici.

At this point you might think "Of course he picked up the phone." Well, maybe not. I laid out this scenario to another doctor and asked him what he would do. He admitted he would not have picked up the phone. He wanted to see studies.

In other words, the limiting beliefs of that doctor, namely, "If it's not published in a study, it's not true," would have prevented him from uncovering the method that cured John.

Because Dr. Brenner picked up the phone, he was able to learn about and meet other patients who had also been terminal, but who were subsequently cured.

Dr. Brenner went so far as to independently research a number of cases where the results far exceeded his own in three decades of treating tens of thousands of dying patients.

But in a way, the phone was merely the natural outgrowth of Dr. Brenner's inner belief that there must be a solution. He always kept that belief in his heart and mind. As a result, when the opportunity presented itself, he was able psychologically to respond.

Opening ourselves to unlimited possibilities don't always happen over night. By keeping and sustaining our beliefs, sooner or later, the greater reality becomes ours.

The critical "take away" from this is to honor your frustrations while keeping your eye on your greater desire no matter how long it takes.

As a personal note, when I was in my mid-twenties, I had kidney disease. For months, I followed the instructions of a holistic physician. Many Saturday nights were spent by me taking hot sweat baths.

During those baths, as I markedly improved, I would have a strong realization that I wanted to make a difference by bringing the news of innovative medicine to others. Well, many years later it is happening...not in the way I had imagined in the tub but in a greater way.

All along I kept the dream alive although for many years I was frustrated much like Dr. Brenner was.

She STUCK her TONGUE out at me!

Mary was a customer, no less. I get no respect!

But she was actually paying me the highest compliment. Here's why.

For 14 years, Mary (not her real name) suffered from something raging inside her that ate away at her...literally. She went from doctor to doctor who proceeded to give her antibiotics. Little did she know, but those treatments would make her condition worse, not better.

She was miserable. It was as if ants were eating at her. She stopped by my store. We got to talking about her problem. By this point she was fit to be tied. There was an urgency. Every second, she couldn't stand still because of what was going on inside her.

Not everyone gets a geographic tongue but about 70% of us have yeast overgrowth according to a major study on the subject. Most people have it due to exposure to antibiotics, birth control pills, steroids, and other drugs. Childhood anti-biotics can result in problems in adulthood!

Symptoms include sinus congestion, vaginal infections, irritability, foggy headed thinking, fatigue, depression, acne...well just about everything you can think of, including the obesity epidemic, diabetes and cancer. (Now you know why believe antibiotics have done more damage to society than any other drug you can take.)

So what do you do to get rid of the yeast and regain good health? Three things...sometimes four.

1- Take "PB-8" or another really outstanding probiotic. DO NOT skimp by buying a less expensive acidophilus or your results will be puny.

2- Olive leaf extract. Start with one a day and increase to two a day after a week or so. A product called Candistroy is even better.

3- Take 5,000 mgs of glutamine powder in water to help heal the intestinal lining.

4- Often times when you have this problem, the digestive tract needs some help digesting your food. So find a good digestive MULTI-enzyme. I prefer the super strength Multi-Enzyme formula made by Vitamin World. But each person needs to experiment to find the one that works best for them.

The Doctor Who Cures Cancer press release question

For two years I slept on a friend's sofa bed and worked as a substitute transit bus operator to give me the freedom to research and write The Doctor Who Cures Cancer. After that is when the trouble started.

After 12 years of being stymied by my publisher who sat on my book because I wouldn't accept a 65% reduction in royalties (he almost exclusively limited his sales to retail sales) the book is out once again and under my control as a softcover book!

During that time, another 6 million cancer patients died without access to this information. Millions more suffered immeasurably from their treatments. And so did their families.

How many tears? One is too many, isn't it.

Meanwhile, the book was mysteriously translated into Russian where 10,000 copies were sold back in 1999. I learned of that little episode less than two weeks ago. This helped create the demand for a clinic in Kiev which is now in operation, according to my Russian source.

I truly believe the same will happen wherever the book is read. For instance, two physicians contacted me years ago even with the tiny bit of circulation of my book here in the US previously.

Although it didn't go anywhere, two readers also contacted me about making a movie. One was a producer for a cable TV show. The other was a very wealthy attorney who lived on the beach in South Florida.

So here's my question regarding a press release: Do I use that information to create a storyline or just write something about the content of the book?

What would be the most appealing to you? And what would appeal most to the journalists in the media who respond to press releases?

It's been 14 years in the making. Yippee!

Twelve years ago my publisher decided to sit on my book when I refused to agree to a 65% reduction in my royalties. He sold the books at retail from his little office in Manhattan rather than distributing them to the nation's bookstores.

Meanwhile, 10,000 copies got translated into Russian and were sold over there. He didn't tell me about that. I'm trying to find him now. If you know where Elliot Saltman is, please let me know.

Meanwhile, over 500,000 victims in the US died from cancer each year, with many more suffering needlessly from barbaric treatments...all while my book sat in boxes in Elliot Saltman's backroom. Grrr!

But I digress. Today is a truly historic day.

First, today is the first day that The Doctor Who Cures Cancer is available as a soft cover book.

Then three hours later today, I received in the mail a copy of the Russian version of my book...a book that had been in circulation for nine years!

Apparently, as a result of my book circulating in Russia, a treatment facility was set up in Kiev.

It's a natural response. When enough people read The Doctor Who Cures Cancer that and a lot more could happen in the US.

"You gotta be healthy to get well!"

I was talking to a customer yesterday about how I cured myself of Stage 4 cancer. She wondered if I'd done any chemo or radiation.

I looked at her in surprise and blurted out something that gave us both a good laugh, "You gotta be healthy to get well!"

It really sums up the truth of the matter, doesn't it. Chemo and radiation fail miserably in making people healthy. In fact it does quite the opposite, doesn't it.

Chemo is famous for putting its victims on all fours hugging the toilet bowl. It also loosens teeth, and causes sores in a very sensitive place: the mouth. I've heard the effects described as "the flu to the 100th degree."

Radiation not only leaves the victim so tired they feel exhausted, but it also swells arms and legs unbelievably. But the worst thing might be the extreme pains it can produce whenever the person tries to eat.

Is that any way to treat someone who is already sick??

It's really simple folks..."You gotta be healthy to get well!"

Cancer thrives when the patient is unhealthy. Piling on more sickness is just plain stupid...and deadly. My Stage 4 cancer went away nine years ago because I got healthy. It's as simple as that.

Lancet birth control pill report betrays women

Sheesh! They are at it again.

It's all over the news that that the latest study on birth control pills appearing in The Lancet reduces women's chances of getting ovarian cancer.

But the study is so flawed as to defy common sense.

The researchers compared about 110,000 women, namely 87,000 healthy women who do not have ovarian cancer to 23,000 who do and found that a higher percentage of those who had no ovarian cancer had previously taken birth control pills. (I'll get back to the bolded healthy part in a minute.) The study sounds pretty clever, right?

It sure did trick Lancet who published it, and the media who were happy to report it.

The problem...and it's a ghastly one...is that the researchers didn't track the women from the beginning. They merely took the results of studies on living women.

So what we don't know is how many of the women who took birth control pills died from other causes. It is well known that birth control pills cause blot clots and strokes, along with increasing other types of cancer. Thus we have no clue as to the total health effects on the women.

Even so, if one were to swallow the results whole, the birth control pills protected 2 women in 1,000 from dying from ovarian cancer. Not 2% or 20%, but two-tenths of a percent.

When a supposed improvement is so tiny, it requires multiplying it b an extraordinarily large number to claim that 100,000 lives would be saved. The authors were only to happy to do that.

But the problem is that with such a tiny sliver of improvement, the darn thing could be horribly wrong. Furthermore, when you factor in the deaths...remember them...from strokes, the .2% 'benefit' evaporates like rain drops on a sunny day.

Now let's talk about the 87,000 healthy women. The fact that they were healthy skews the study so bad one could make a french-curve ruler out of it. For instance, it would exclude women in wheelchairs who got put there by blot clots to their brains.

The study doesn't include the women who died from strokes either. They couldn't be a part of the study because the researchers hadn't tracked patients from day one!

Restricting the study to living healthy women while excluding sick or dead women makes the study worse than worthless. Here is why.

The study is bound to get major publicity. Which means more doctors will prescribe birth control and more women are going to go on the pill mistakenly thinking it offers some protection.

Since the study could only produce a .2% improvement by restricting the population, and while excluding all the debilitating and deadly downsides, more women will die needlessly.

This study published by The Lancet is an embarrassment to their reputation.

Phantom Limb Pain Cure For $3?

Phantom limb pain is a serious problem for those who have it. The missing limb feels paralyzed and cramped in excruciating pain.

Every once in a while, someone makes an invention that is so extraordinary that it defies adequate superlatives. The link below is one such innovation.

A genius neurologist has come up with a stunning $3 cure giving relief from the pain in many cases. You've got to see it to believe it. You might have to register in order to see this most extraordinary talk. The speaker notes that relief of phantom pain might otherwise cost millions of dollars to produce a virtual reality machine to do the same thing.

Antibiotic ban in the UK?

Doctors in the UK are being advised not to prescribe antibiotics for colds, flues and sore throats. From the UK Telegraph online:

Alan Johnson, the Health Secretary, says it is time to end the unnecessary use of penicillin and other commonly-prescribed pills, which cost the NHS £1.7 billion a year.

Using antibiotics too liberally has led to bugs such as MRSA becoming resistant to treatment with the drugs. Most colds, coughs and flu are caused by viruses, which cannot be treated with antibiotics anyway, Mr Johnson points out.

Finally!

If we could get doctors in the US to do the same, the benefits to patients could be huge.

The government led program is designed to slow the spike of MRSA, a deadly bacterial infection that has been sweeping hospitals.

But the real danger of antibiotics far exceeds the hospital danger. Antibiotics allow yeast to spread in our bodies. That can make us crave sweets and excess carbs.

Why? Because the yeast lives on sugar and so does our brain. When we have too much yeast, our brain tells us it is starving. Then our brain walks us to the refrigerator or drives us to the store to buy high sugar and high carb foods.

In other words, antibiotics carry the real risk of causing our pants not to fit. A bigger waistline is a risk factor for all sorts of health problems including depression, heart trouble and diabetes.

Each of those factors decreases the quality of our lives and shortens life expectancy.

In short, antibiotics are dangerous drugs.

By the way, have you ever noticed how one round of antibiotics leads to another and another?

Back pain and leg pain go bye bye!

First some related good news...the price of CoQ10 dropped dramatically about a month or two ago...it's about 75% to 80% lower than it used to be! I read about a year ago that a new manufacturing facility was to open in Texas. Apparently it has opened. Before all the CoQ10 was made in Japan.

As a result of the drop in price I decided to increase my dose from 100/200 a day to 400mgs a day to see if it would increase my energy.

Meanwhile, I'd been dealing with nerve pain in my leg due to a fall which had aggravated an old back injury since infancy that included poorly healed broken bones. Since the fall, I often needed a crutch and had great difficulty walking 100 yards.

In fact, I was looking forward to my appointment with the neurosurgeon...that's how bad my situation was.

Well, to my utter surprise, the CoQ10 did a lot more than increase my energy and help me to sleep better. From the very first day the burning nerve pain in my leg has been greatly reduced. Whereas the burning used to be almost all the time, now it's maybe a half-hour a day, and it's less distracting.

Also I can walk without having to think about every step. I can walk a few hundred yards without a crutch and do it more quickly.

I had no prior inkling that the CoQ10 would help me in this way.

I'm not back to 100%, but I'm postponing the surgery...hopefully forever.

I gave some CoQ10 to a friend who was suffering 24/7 from degenerative back pain down her leg that was made far worse from a physical therapy session.

Again, from the very first day of taking 400 mgs, her pain was greatly reduced. She only takes it intermittently now because she suffers from OCD and too much CoQ10 makes her a little hyper. She's trying 100 mgs but that doesn't seem to be helping her much.

I've read that super high doses of 1,200 mgs has helped Parkinson's patients quite a bit, so there is some evidence that it has a positive effect on nerves.

Also, a pharmacist told me that nerves contain fluid. When the nerves swell, it can cause pain that is untouched by NSAID's and heavy duty pain killers. Well, CoQ10 has been shown to be extremely beneficial for congestive heart failure, which is also a fluid problem.

So maybe the CoQ10 is affecting the nerves in a similar fashion. Maybe it's reducing the fluid swelling inside the nerves.

I don't know for sure. My preliminary Google search hasn't turned up anything other than the original question in this thread.

But it might be something to try for any nerve pain to see whether it would help or not. Remember, it did nothing for me as regards my pain and mobility when I took 100-200 mgs. So a half dose didn't produce a half benefit.

I'd be interested to hear if this works for anyone else. If it does, then this accidental discovery sure could benefit a whole lot of people.

Did you hear the latest risk of ED drugs like Viagra?

The Washington Post is the latest mjor news outlet to report on yet another danger of ED drugs such as Viagra, Levitra and Cialis:

Erectile dysfunction drugs Viagra, Levitra and Cialis can, in rare cases, cause sudden hearing loss; users who find their hearing impaired should stop taking the drugs and call their doctor.

The Food and Drug Administration has asked makers of the drugs to put a warning to that effect on product labels. The alert comes two years after the drugs were linked to rare cases of vision loss, caused by a disruption in blood supply to the optic nerve.

The latest alert was prompted by a case report in the Journal of Laryngology & Otology of sudden hearing loss in a man taking Viagra. A search of FDA records found 29 similar reports involving ED drug users and a few people who took the drugs during clinical trials.
Although hearing loss is common in men in their 50s -- the age group most likely to take ED drugs -- age-related loss tends to be gradual, unlike the kind tied to the warning. [emphasis added]

This unnecessary outcome is disgusting to me since the Nobel Prize was given to scientists in 1998 for the discovering the compound that can cure ED. Here's a hint: the compound wasn't Cialis, Levitra nor Viagra.

Numerous studies were conducted demonstrating that we can promote the production of the compound very easily and without the risk of going blind or losing our hearing.

Cholesterol Drug Flunks Again

Zocor, a cholesterol drug, can ruin your sleep, according to the latest study.

Sleep problems are associated with contributing to both weight gain, and diabetes.

So let's do the math here. Zocor is supposed to protect you from a heart attack (har har) but it can lead to diabetes which causes heart attacks, blindness and kidney failure, along with severe nerve pain, and gangrene which can lead to amputations.

Something doesn't add up.

Does this mean you should switch from Zocor to another cholesterol drug? No. All statin drugs block CoQ10, a vital energy producer in the heart. This means all of them promote heart attacks.

There is further evidence that they also lower testosterone and promote amnesia and memory loss. Stay away from these drugs.

Is Sloan-Kettering denying you a cure for cancer?

"A disease that...can attack a person in perfect health, in the full vigor of early maturity, and in some insidious, mysterious way, within a few months, destroy a life, is surely a subject important enough to demand our best thought and continued study."
- William Coley, M.D., in remarks to the New York Academy of Medicine, 1891

Dr. Coley was referring to a young woman whose injured hand had mysteriously transformed into a painful and deadly case of cancer, snuffing out her life in less than a year. Coley was influential in the establishment of Memorial Sloan-Kettering.

It is perhaps more than a little ironic that Sloan-Kettering has since played a part in snuffing out an effective method for curing cancer. About five decades ago, S-K chief medical director, John Heller, M.D., was well aware of a doctor who was curing cancer patients.

Dr. Heller told a fellow physician who had been stricken with a mortal, incurable brain tumor about the doctor who cures cancer, "I don't know how he does it, but people walk in there dead and walk out alive." Heller had known about the outsider's work for 10 years.

The stricken doctor asked Heller if he recommended that he go see him. The Sloan-Kettering Medical Director replied, "Yes, I would."

The Dr. Robert Fishbein, the brain cancer patient, was quite naturally quite curious to know why they weren't using the more effective treatment at S-K. Heller answered, "I'd lose my job. I have to be careful around here. He's foreign. He's strange, and around here he's considered a quack."

Dr. Fishbein, who was predicted to be dead in two to four months was cured. That was in 1962, some forty-five years ago. He was able to return to to the practice of medicine. He has retired, and lives in New Jersey.

It's unfortunate, but do not expect the medical profession to "get around" to offering the treatment.The doctor who cures cancer was Emanuel Revici, M.D. His name is still scorned by the American Cancer Society and in the halls of medicine including at Sloan-Kettering.

It will take a wide wakening and people speaking out. I'm just one person, but together we can fix this health care crisis. It's long overdue...let's not wait another moment.

So once again, it's time to repeat the words of Dr. Coley:

"A disease that...can attack a person is perfect health, in the full vigor of early maturity, and in some insidious, mysterious way, within a few months, destroy a life, is surely a subject important enough to demand our best thought and continued study."

68% More Gen X'ers Risking Erectile & Libido Dysfunction

Forgive me for hammering on the many problems of cholesterol lowering drugs of late. But the news keeps piling up on them. The news is really serious in its implications for both our nation and to the young men and women who could be seriously harmed by these problematic drugs.

Recent news reports indicate more men and women between the age of 20 and 44 could be losing their sex drives, if other medical reports are to be believed. The news is that sales of these drugs has increased by 68% to that age group.

In previous articles, I've noted how the popular cholesterol drugs can hurt patients in different ways:

Memory loss, and amnesia
Heart atttacks
Erectile and libido dysfunction

Can the US afford to have a bunch of Gen X'ers & Gen Y'ers suffering from memory loss and reduced testosterone levels? Are we femininizing our society, turning men into wishy washy wimps?

With Alzheimer's Disease already a grave worry, what happens if we add to that a large number of Cholesterol-impaired brain-addled young adults?

Men need testosterone to maintain their masculinity. Women need a tiny bit to maintain their natural sex drive. All of us need fully functioning brains for as long as possible.

I fear for our future. There are so few voices crying out to stop this madness, with millions of prescriptions being written each year, destroying brains and vitality.

This is no joke. Physicians are becoming more aggressive in prescribing 'Limpitor' and the other statins. Meanwhile, medical bodies keep reducing the mythical number as to what is a safe level of cholesterol.

If you're concerned about your cholesterol, a much safer and effective solution would be fish oil and arginine. Neither will mess with your testosterone or your brain except to help them.

What Do ALL the Statin Cholesterol Drugs Have In Common?

They can flat out kill you, that's what. By flat out, it means you could be standing up one second and be laying flat on your back, or face down, the next. As Dr. Samuel Weigle told me one afternoon, "They lower cholesterol and cause heart attacks." he also told me that statin dugs are "the worst class of drugs out there."

It doesn't matter if it's Lipitor, Mevacor, Pravachol, Zocor, Crestor, or whatever. Each one blocks the spark plug to your heart. In as little as 3 months, you heart could be 25% less efficient. Keep taking the drug and the efficiency of your heart can keep dropping.

In one study at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Lipitor significantly reduced CoQ10, the spark plug, in just 14 days.

Conclusions Even brief exposure to atorvastatin causes a marked decrease in blood CoQ10 concentration. Widespread inhibition of CoQ10 synthesis could explain the most commonly reported adverse effects of statins, especially exercise intolerance, myalgia, and myoglobinuria.

If you're cholesterol is a concern for you, you might start taking fish oil and arginine, instead. The fish oil cuts down any inflammation and arginine increases your good cholesterol. Your good cholesterol scubs your arteries clean.

Your good cholesterol also helps your brain, memory and libido (in men and women.)

It Kills Surgical Pain and Cancer? Now That's Hot!

You might have seen the news about hot peppers eliminating surgical pain for three days. The surgeons are thrilled by it because unlike pharmaceutical pain killers, the peppers aren't addictive...well, Pace's picante (a.k.a. salsa) sauce can be addictive, but that's another story.

Another benefit not mentioned in the article is that pain killers are notorious for causing constipation - something you want to avoid when you've got stitches in you.

But the story about peppers doesn't stop there.

Nineteen months ago previous news about hot peppers from UCLA's Cedars Sinai disappeared quickly. Researchers there were able to shrink prostate tumors 80% with the active ingredient from hot peppers, namely capsaicin. That truly startling story vanished, however.

If an expensive drug had accomplished such a feat, we'd sill be hearing about it. But you can buy enough peppers to cure cancer for a roll of dimes or less. Maybe the hot pepper lobby isn't big enough.

The results at UCLA didn't surprise me. About nine years ago, I used hot peppers along with a couple other cheap ingredients to wipe out my own Stage 4 cancer.

That's why I say cancer is easy to cure. It really is.

Maybe Pfizer should call it "Limpitor"

If you're considering taking a cholesterol lowing drug, there's an increased risk of impotence. You might want to read the entire article. Meanwhile, here's the money quote:

In Spain and France [3], 75 cases of impotence associated with statins were identified. All had a temporal sequence. About 90% of men recovered potency on statin withdrawal, and in some cases impotence appeared again on re-challenge. All statins were implicated.

It makes complete sense. Men need cholesterol to make their testosterone. When you have less cholesterol to make your testosterone, a loss of libido and a loss of performance could be in your future. For some men it happens rapidly.

Women aren't immune either. Women have a little testosterone, too, just as men have a slight amount of estrogen. Women need their tiny amount of testosterone for their libido. Without enough, they lose their desire for sex.

As yet, these risks aren't listed in the drug inserts. The decreases in desire have been passed off as part of heart disease rather than the drug.

But the anecodotal evidence is sometimes striking. Men lose their erections and desire while on the drug and regain it when they stop:

8) Erectile Dysfunction - I have had issues with ED for 60 of the last 90 days, all of which ( first 60 days ) I was taking Lipitor. I have had detailed testosterone testing, and have been told that androgen therapy would not be out of the question for me. My 214 average over three tests was lower than the 280-300 lowest limit the urologist wanted to see. The last 20-30 days off Lipitor I have had no erectile issues. I have had some stressful personal things going on as well that may have had an erectile effect. But, I have often wondered why my libido would take such a swing.

Who Is The Doctor Who Cures Cancer?

People I meet often ask me about my book, The Doctor Who Cures Cancer.

The Doctor Who Cures Cancer was published in 1997 as a hardcover book. When I saw used copies selling for as high as $570 on Amazon.com the other day, it occurred to me, as the author, that many people would still want to have access to the information at a more realistic price.

The high interest in the book shouldn't be so surprising. For instance, Dr. Seymour Brenner, who was a board certified radiation oncologist said in the foreword to The Doctor Who Cures Cancer that Dr. Revici had cured many people of cancer who were considered to be incurable up until Revici treated them.

These Drugs Pose Brain Fog, Impotence and Heart Attack Risks

If you want to increase your risk of a heart attack, make sure you
take your statin drug every day.

Of course, you might not even know you're having a heart attack
because those statins can give you global amnesia, too. Just ask Dr.
Graveline, a retired physician and former astronaut, who got hit with
global amnesia twice while taking Lipitor. Lipitor is the #1 selling
drug in the US with sales of $6.6 Billion a year.

He wrote a book about it. The second time he had no memory of
attending medical school! He couldn't remember his wife and children.
His wife had to use milk and cookies to entice him to come into the
house...he had no idea who she was at the time!

Many others have experienced faltering memory. In some cases, enough

The Dumbest Drugs Of All?

Hello, this is my maiden entry. I am the author of The Doctor Who Cures Cancer and It's Not Just For Sex, hence the name given to this blog. You're invited to bookmark this page or RSS it (I think) for more amazing news. As one reviewer of The Doctor Who Cures Cancer noted, "Nobody writes like that!"

Without further ado:

What are the dumbest prescription drugs of all? There are good arguments that could be made for quite a few. But there is one class of drugs that might make you forget everything: the statin drugs to lower cholesterol.

Why are statins dumb? Because these drugs that are supposed to protect your heart and arteries CAUSE heart attacks! At least that is what Samuel Weigle, M.D., told me one afternoon. He's a local anesthesiologist I know.

Dr. Weigle said, "They lower cholesterol and cause heart attacks." They do this by lowering a compound that gives the heart it's energy, namely CoQ10. Weigle based his opinion on several scientific papers he'd read.

As a matter of fact, one major drug company patented two statin drugs (US Patent #'s 4933165 & 4929437) that contained CoQ10. Which means the drug maker was well aware of the problem.

But they decided not to sell it because that would have been an admission that their statin drug was risky. Furthermore, there isn't enough CoQ10 being made to have enough for all the patients taking statins. So Merck and the other drug makers sell their dumb products without any CoQ10 even though they know it's a recognized problem....sheesh, they recognize the danger.

In Canada, the package inserts tell the careful reader that the drugs do indeed reduce CoQ10. But that warning is absent from statins sold in the US.

But that isn't all the statins do. They can also cause temporary, and potentially dangerous, Global Amnesia. Dr. Graveline, an astronaut and physician found this out first hand. In his second episode, which lasted 12 frightful hours, he lost his memory all the way back through medical school. He had no recollection of any of it! In other words, he was temporarily 'dumb.'

So the drugs that are supposed to help your heart have a history both of causing heart attacks and causing startling memory problems.

As of 2006, there were 20 million statin patients in the US and another 3.6 million in the UK. As usage continues, a looming spike in heart attacks and dementia may follow.

So today's award for dumbest drugs goes to the statins.
